The Unic U304(f) Schützenpanzerwagen Ambulance was based on the captured French Unic P107 half-track, repurposed by the Germans to serve as a protected ambulance. In its late-war configuration, the vehicle featured reinforced armor and modifications to safely transport wounded soldiers from the front lines. Despite being lightly armed, its primary role was to provide rapid and secure medical evacuation under fire, particularly as the German army faced increasingly difficult conditions on both the Eastern and Western Fronts.
