The Type 4 Ho Ro model, designed by Bergman, is a meticulously crafted 15mm scale miniature that represents one of the Imperial Japanese Army's significant self-propelled artillery pieces during World War II.
The Type 4 Ho Ro was developed by Japan towards the end of World War II as a self-propelled artillery vehicle. It was armed with a 150mm Type 38 howitzer, originally a field gun adapted to be mounted on the chassis of a Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tank. The Ho Ro was designed to provide heavy fire support, capable of delivering powerful artillery strikes against fortified positions and enemy concentrations. Although only a limited number were produced, the Ho Ro played a crucial role in the Japanese Army’s artillery capabilities during the later stages of the war.
