The T-26A, also known as the twin-turret version, was one of the initial variants of the T-26 series, produced in the early 1930s. Inspired by the British Vickers 6-Ton tank, the T-26A featured two small turrets, each armed with a machine gun or a 37mm cannon. Though innovative at the time, the dual-turret design was soon deemed impractical, and later models adopted a single turret. The T-26A saw action during early Soviet campaigns, including the Spanish Civil War and the Soviet-Japanese border conflicts.
