The Ho Ni III model, designed by Bergman, is a meticulously detailed 15mm scale miniature that represents one of the most formidable self-propelled guns used by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II.
The Ho Ni III was developed as part of Japan's efforts to improve their armored capabilities during World War II. Unlike its predecessors, the Ho Ni I and II, which were open-topped, the Ho Ni III featured a fully enclosed casemate, offering better protection for the crew. It was armed with a Type 3 75mm gun, making it effective against both tanks and fortified positions. The Ho Ni III saw action in various Pacific theaters, providing valuable fire support to Japanese infantry units.
