The Geschützwagen B2(f) was developed by the German Wehrmacht during World War II. Utilizing the chassis of the French Char B1 bis, these vehicles were converted into self-propelled artillery mounts, equipped with the 10.5 cm leFH 18 howitzer. This adaptation exemplified the German military's resourcefulness in repurposing captured equipment to bolster their artillery capabilities.
